Is this Mark Zuckerberg's response to Kanye West's billion-dollar plea?

Mark Zuckerberg has yet to issue a formal response to Kanye West's billion-dollar request, but he has definitely "liked" it.

The Facebook CEO hit the thumbs-up button on a status posted by user Steven Grimm that read, "Dear Kanye West: If you're going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don't do it on Twitter. (Credit: Annika Goodman)."

Mark's "like" follows West's Twitter plea earlier this weekend when he asked for a hefty sum from Zuck. "I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome... This is my true heart...," West posted on his timeline (Feb. 13). "Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas."

The rapper/ mogul continued the following day, "Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw… You love hip hop, you love my art… I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house ... World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me… I’m this generation's Disney… I want to bring dope shit to the world… I don’t have enough resources to create what I really can…"

West then pleaded some more. "Mark, I am publicly asking you for help… one of the coolest things you could ever do is to help me in my time of need and I will always respect you for that and the world will love you…"

In other financial Kanye news, Stephen Colbert put in his two cents about the ordeal on the Late Show, poking fun at the imagined org chart West shared of his creative agency DONDA.

'Ye advocates also launched a GoFundMe page to help out with West's debt.

A rep for Facebook did not immediately respond to Billboard's request for comment.
