My father wanted me to be a lawyer – Kaywa

Award winning Ghanaian music producer David Kojo Kyei also known as Kaywa in the Gh Music Industry said his father wanted him to be a lawyer instead of a sound engineer.

According to him, his parents knew how to take care of their kids and was very particular about their welfare.

In an exclusive interview with Kelvin of Cypress Ghana , Kaywa said though his late father was abit heard on him and wanted him to be a lawyer, he was able to gradually convince him about his potentials in music production.

Kaywa who's produced hit songs for award winning artists which includes Sarkodie, Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, R2bees amongs others started producing hits from 2001.

In marking his fifteen years of producing quality and record breaking songs in the Ghana music industry Kaywa will be hosting the Kaywa live Play list concert at the Tema sports stadium on the 1st of July 2016.


The concert which is been organized by House of Maasela Events and Advertising in Partnership with Highly Spiritual Music promises to be a night of celebrating and acknowledging a legend in the music industry as top artists his ever worked with will be performing their hit songs produced by Kaywa.
