It’s undeniable fact that almost all the artistes that have parted ways
with Lynx Entertainment, owned by Richie Mensah have not found their
feet, and are still struggling one way or the other up till now.
You can’t deny the fact that Eazzy is struggling, Zigi of ‘U sey wey
tin’ fame, Asem ‘Give me blow’ hitmaker, OJ Blaq among others are still
finding it difficult to make a strong comeback after they exited the
management of Lynx Entertainment.
It seems Ghanaians more or less just ‘can’t think far’ as to why
artistes that have parted ways with Lynx Entertainment are struggling
and are not able to make it big; not even one can be made mention of. To
some critics, may be Richie has used juju on them to show them where
the real power lies.
Richie was a guest on the Pundit show on GHONE TV and when quizzed by
George Quaye, the host of the show as to whether he has used juju on his
former acts as it’s being circulated, he said, no, he didn’t.
According to Richie, the work of management is not an easy task for just
one act to assume the role of manager, financier, among others.
“It’s an insult to God and my company for me to use ‘juju’ on my former
artistes. Here at Lynx Entertainment, I’ve a staff of about 12 that work
on various artistes.”
He continued, “Managing an artiste is a full-time job, it’s never a
part-time job, so if you leave and wants to work on your own, it’s not
an easy job at all. Once again, let me make it clear that I’ve not used
‘Juju’ on any artiste.” Richie unequivocally denying using Juju on his
former acts.
Richie again disclosed that he’s now a former musician and just concentrating on making artistes on his record label big.
