Popular actor and politician, Clement Bonney known on screen as Mr.
Beautiful has descended heavily on film producer Paul Gee branding him
as ignorant in film making business.According to him, the film industry is declining because of lack of professionalism in Kumasi.
‘’ Most of the film producers in Kumasi are not professionals especially Paul Gee and Osewus, they lack the professional will to produce movies for the market’’
Mr. Beautiful in an interview with SeanCitygh.com said, the film industry in Kumasi is at the siege because of the numerous trash that are being produced by the likes of Paul Gee and Osewus.
He also accused low sales of movies on producers who do low budget movies and expecting huge outcome.
He alleged that, aside Samuel Nyamekye, Jones Agyemang and Kofi Asamoah who have learned professional film making, the other producers are ignorant on the work.
‘’ At the time miracle films was the only filmmaker in Kumasi, the professionalism was there but when the likes of Paul Gee switched from the CD and Phone selling business to film making all the trash started coming out ‘’
‘’I can single out Paul Gee without any fear that he is the most ignorant film producer ever in Kumasi’’ he stated.
