Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ Passes Stonebwoy’s ‘Tomorrow’ In Terms Of Views

Shatta Wale’s latest music video ‘Gringo’ has garnered 494,000 views at the time of this post.

The video was released on the 27th of April and although people have shared mixed feelings about the song and the music video, it’s still topping iTunes chart and still sits comfortably as the number 1 trending video on Youtube for the past 4 days, which hardly happens.

Stonebwoy released his latest music video, ‘Tomorrow’ on the 20th April 2018 and currently has 480,000 views at the time of this post.

The dancehall artiste was hoping to hit 1 million views within a week but it’s 13 days now, and the music video is yet to cross 500,000 views and it’s obvious Stonebwoy is somewhat disappointed which explains why he’s ranting subtly on Snapchat.

This is not an attempt to compare the two music videos because they both have different concepts but views are views and as an entertainment blog, we know the rivalry between these two artistes so it’s always important to track their performance and tell who’s getting the most attention

Well, from the way things are going, it’s clear Shatta Wale would soon hit 1 million views, perhaps within 13 days and leave Stonebwoy behind.

We’ve also observed that Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ has had more attention and sparked more conversations than Stonebwoy’s ‘Tomorrow when it dropped.

The record label, the two artistes are signed on have also promoted Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ more than Stonebwoy’s ‘Tomorrow’ and we feel it could be so because, Stonebwoy wants to do things his own way, so the label decided to leave him to do things the way he wants. Have you observed there was no Zylofon logo or credit on Stonebwoy’s music video as compared to Wale’s own?

Although things between Stonebwoy and Zylofon have calmed, it’s obvious something is still not right there, and even watching Wale’s music video, sort of tells that story.

Now, watch Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo‘again and you will notice the character Jasmine fits boss of Zylofon, Nana Appiah Mensah and Stonebwoy fits the person of Black Eye—I won’t say much.
